As the latest intern, Emma Clark from RGU in Aberdeen has just finished her placement here at Eden. I realise that it’s now been 10 years since I started taking interns from the Fashion Management course at RGU, so I thought I would try and find out what they are doing now.
My students from RGU over the years ...
Georgina Benton 2011
Fiona Hinchcliffe 2012
Ailsa Willens 2013
Ciara McKenzie 2014
Cristina Krajewski 2015
Karen Morgan 2016
Alana Johnson 2017
Nikki Buskie 2018
Alyx Middleton 2019
Emma Clark 2020
I managed to make contact with some of my past interns to find out they are doing now.
Georgina was my first intern from RGU all the way back in 2011. This was the first time the Fashion Management course was run at Aberdeen also. So it was a learning curve for both of us.
In 2014 Ciara did her placement at Eden. She now works as a make up artist in Edinburgh.
Karen is now working in London doing PR for the London Eye
Alana is currently spending a year in Japan, having worked in a buying office in Edinburgh after graduating.
Nikki is the assistant manager of Tigerlily boutique in Aberdeen.
Emma has one more year of her Fashion Management degree left and not yet decided exactly what she would like to do when she graduates but would definitely want to stay working in fashion.
It's been so interesting finding out what everyone is doing these days. I so enjoyed working alongside all my students and would like to say a massive thank you.
