Whilst away on a buying trip for AW15 in Barcelona we had a chat with Jesus and Marijo from Malahierba at their shop and showroom to find out a little more behind their brand
How did Malahierba begin? With work experiences in different areas of the fashion industry, Marijo and Jesus met whilst working for Camper and decided to collaborate and create their own fashion brand. Starting by producing samples and first exhibiting alongside two other small Spanish labels at the fashion trade fair Bread + Butter in Barcelona in January 2008 and then again in June 2008. The brand has come a long way since then and their new shop is now well established and other boutiques are starting to open up in the area too.
What's next for Malahierba? Always keen to promote Spanish manufacturing, all the garments are designed and manufactured in Spain using high quality fabrics with their own unique designs. They look to grow the label further with more stockists not only in Spain but worldwide. With publicity of the brand via bloggers and social media, watch out for future collaborations too.
Go visit their lovely shop, where you can find the whole Malahierba collection (including limited editions), accessories by "Sew a Song" and "Lucuix", porcelains by "Chichinabo" and Victoria shoes. All manufactured in Spain.

As we start to think about holidays, I though it was about time to showcase some favourite dresses for the summer. From day to evening, casual yet dressy here's our top 3 picks.
The maxi dress, always a holiday hit and looks great with wedges or sandals
The printed tunic dress - wear it with cropped leggings and baseball boots for a casual day look
The colour pop dress - this coral dress would look fab teamed with metallic heels and a funky clutch bag

White is the perfect summer go-to tone due to its lightness and elegance. This SS15 designer's collections featured more of a casual silhouette giving off an effortless, relaxed vibe. We love how Bora Aksu incorporated crochet into his collection combining it with lightweight fabrics for a fresh update of the all white outfit.
We love the all white everything look - minimal but sophisticated.
Wear this trend now by pairing a white sheer panelled t shirt with a white midi skirt for a sleek finish.
Or try a classic white shirt with a pair of jeans and contrasting pair of heels.
With many collections featuring cut outs with mesh overlay we couldn't forget this trend which is already proving to be very popular with celebrities and fashion bloggers.
HOW TO WEAR : We aren't all daring enough to opt for all sheer everything so pair your sheer items with opaques for an on trend but elegant look. We recommend sheer panel t shirts with wide leg pants and heeled sandals.
All of us are dreaming of being on a white sand beach with turquoise waters... Far away from the grey UK weather. However for now we may have to settle for gorgeous shades of blue and turquoise in our wardrobe which have been spotted several times during fashion week for Ss15 including Elie Saab's beautiful collection at PFW featuring aquamarine and jewel toned blues featured above.
HOW TO WEAR : Mix your blue palette with white to create a beautiful summery contrast. Add jewel tones to add depth and glamour.
The classic monochrome was a sure winner this SS15 incorporated into graphic prints to create a new and exciting update. Holly Fulton's intricate designs were super wearable with a relaxed slightly oversized feel for a casual but stylish look. Monochrome is here to stay.
HOW TO WEAR : Monochrome is a great trend as its so easy to wear and isn't too intimidating. With the help of monochrome you can look perfectly polished with minimum effort. Pair a printed black t shirt with some jeans and heeled black ankle boots.
We love a good print and a bright splash of colour here at Eden. Our new Spring/Summer arrivals are bursting with personality! Here are some of our favourites to give you a little inspiration.
Bright colours aren't everyones thing. But prints should be! Here is our little black 'Govic' dress by Barcelona based brand Smash! Govic features a beautiful intricate monochromatic print and the style is great to wear all year round... plus the fabric is super soft.
Monochrome and a pop of colour is a great combination, especially when contrasting different prints against each other to give a really abstract feel. Another amazing Smash creation below is our 'Pallas' dress which contrasts monochrome and colour prints perfectly.
This lady is definitely rocking some amazing prints and colour. Our Opaline dress has a beautiful peacock inspired design in a mixture of greens, blue and oranges.
